Research
Jan Fellerer works on the history of Polish, Czech and Ukrainian with special reference to the modern period from the late 18th century to the present day. He works on language contact, urban dialects and historical multilingualism, currently with special reference to Łódź. His areas of interest in Slavonic linguistics also include topics in lexical semantics and syntax, especially word order, argument structure and argument realization.
