Research
I continue to be interested in a wide range of authors and topics in German and comparative literature from about 1650 onwards. My monograph on German Political Tragedy is due out from Legenda in 2024. I am now writing a book on E.T.A. Hoffmann and plan further work on Romanticism. I am convenor of the monograph series Germanic Literatures, published by Legenda.
