Having completed a BA and MSt in Modern Languages (German) at Oxford, I am currently pursuing my DPhil at Lincoln College. My research focuses on the novels of Klaus Mann, in the context of genre, gender, and queer theories, and is supported with full funding from the Open-Oxford-Cambridge Doctoral Training Partnership, the Clarendon Fund, and All Souls College.

Alongside my research, I have been involved with the White Rose Project led by Dr Alexandra Lloyd, and I also teach undergraduate translation classes and tutorials on modern and contemporary German literature.
