On Monday 29 September, the Faculty moved into new premises in the Stephen A. Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities.

The Faculty’s professional services team, along with academics, researchers and language lecturers have offices in the building. There are meeting rooms and teaching spaces clustered around our Faculty hub.

Phillip Rothwell, Chair of the MML Faculty Board, said “We are delighted with our new home. The proximity of multiple faculties will be a real driver for even stronger research collaborations across the Humanities, allowing us to foreground the deeper perspectives multilingualism brings.”

The building houses a further six Humanities faculties and research institutions, along with a Humanities library, a 500-seat concert hall, a cinema, teaching rooms and performance and exhibition spaces.

The Faculty’s library remains at the Taylor Institute.
