Are you thinking about how to engage others with your research? The Library recognises that its collections provide opportunities for valuable user engagement activities and can help to support a number of different approaches to creating an impact. Exhibitions and book displays, often to accompany a conference or seminar, are popular ways of highlighting your research activities. We can also advise on the production of print-on-demand texts such as exhibition catalogues, translations and facsimiles of out-of-copyright texts. Taylorian staff curate a blog which highlights items of interest in the Library’s collections. Contributions focus on important new acquisitions, items in the Taylorian’s Special Collections, less well-known materials, unusual or alternative formats, and projects, events and research using the Library’s collections. Guest posts on the Taylorian blog are very welcome. Posts must discuss the Library’s collections in some way, but do not have to relate to an exhibition or event. The Library is active on social media and is very happy to promote events and interact with research online.
