Dr Javier Muñoz-Basols has been elected President of ASELE (Asociación para la Enseñanza del Español como Lengua Extranjera). Founded in 1987, ASELE is one of the largest and oldest associations of researchers and teachers of Spanish language and linguistics worldwide. It currently has more than 800 members in 48 countries.
