Exactly a year ago, the German journalist Susanne Beyer visited Oxford to interview Henrike Lähnemann for a book about successful women. She came as one of the last in-person visitors to the Faculty and then shadowed her teaching on that day. She incorporated these encounters with the MML students anonymised into the chapter about "Geist" (spirit); insiders will recognise a class for the German Paper IV students (Historical Linguistics), in the Bibliographic Press of the Bodleian Library, to typeset a Reformation pamphlet and a session with the German Sole finalists for Paper III (Translation from Pre-Modern Texts). The book is published on 8 March for International Women's Day.
