We were pleased to welcome H.E. Madame Catherine Colonna on the occasion of her recent visit to Oxford. Graduate students and early career researchers from Modern Languages met the Ambassador at the Maison Française and gave presentations of their current work. The visit also included meetings with the Chancellor, Lord Patten, the Head of Humanities, Professor Karen O'Brien, and a tour of the Bodleian Library under the expert guidance of Bodley's Librarian, Richard Ovenden. Mme Colonna was accompanied by Dr Minh-Hà Pham, Counsellor for Science and Technology. Her hosts in Oxford were Dr Pascal Marty of the Maison Française d'Oxford and Professor Catriona Seth, Marshal Foch Professor of French Literature.
