As part of Meeting Minds Global , a series of events for alumni of the University, Professor Karen Leeder gave a talk entitled "White Gold: Meissen Porcelain and The Destruction of Dresden". 

The event discussed the aerial bombing of Dresden in 1945, and how German writer, Durs Grünbein, has explored the legacy through Meissen pottery.
