Professor Catriona Seth FBA MAE, Marshal Foch Professor of French Literature, is visiting the University of Bergamo as a guest researcher.

She has been carrying out research in the archives and libraries, as well as meeting academics and curators from Bergamo and Turin. She gave a talk on Les Liaisons dangereuses to Dr Francesca Pagani's students.

Professor Seth commented: 'I have been bowled over by the welcome I have received and am delighted to be carrying out research in such good conditions.'
