Professor Silberman is a distinguished scholar of the GDR and of German film and is prominent in Brecht studies. He is spending all of Trinity Term in Oxford and is keen to meet students and members of the Faculty. He is a clear and lively lecturer, and this talk will be of interest to undergraduates studying GDR literature, as well as to more advanced students and scholars.
