The Sub-Faculty of Spanish at the University of Oxford is delighted to welcome to its Research Seminar the former Director of the Real Academia Española, Prof. Darío Villanueva 

In speaking (in Spanish)  on 'Shakespeare y Cervantes, de la palabra a la imagen dinámica', Prof. Villanueva will return to the research he was undertaking on Cervantes before and after cinema, at the time he took up the Director's role at the RAE in 2008. He will be showing and discussing extracts from cinematic versions of Henry V and the Quijote.
