On Friday, June 15th, together with the Rothermere American Institute (RAI), we present a one-day symposium 'Puerto Rico After Hurricane María: Culture, Politics, Place'.
There will be three guest speakers, who will talk on the cultural, political and infrastructural situation in Puerto Rico after Hurricane María struck the island in September 2017:
Antonio Carmona Báez (Public Policy, University of St. Maarten).
Sarah Molinari (CUNY Graduate Center).
Eduardo Lalo, novelist and winner of the Rómulo Gallegos International Novel Prize in 2013 for Simone, who will also be doing a reading of his work on Thursday, 14 June.
