Oxford Portuguese DPhil student, Georgia Nasseh, was on the BBC Radio 4 programme Once Upon a Time on Thursday, 15 September 2022, which was repeated on Monday, 19 September 2022.

Georgia says: "The programme is called 'Once Upon a Time', which explores "books available to children who are facing death and bereavement" – or, as it recurs in the programme, "sad books for children". I spoke about a classic Brazilian children's book – O Meu Pé de Laranja Lima by José Mauro de Vasconcelos, published in 1968 (retranslated by Alice Entrekin as My Sweet Orange Tree). "It's the kind of book that you take home from school and your parents will often say 'I read that when I was in school!' [...] That pervasiveness made it seem to us an important thing that we were reading."
