This summer, as Paris is hosting the Olympics, visitors can see an exhibition which traces the beginnings of fencing and deals with the wider theme of duels and duelling. Professor Catriona Seth was on the advisory board for the exhibition and wrote an article for the catalogue on duels in "Les Liaisons dangereuses".
