Prize-winning French author and film producer, Delphine de Vigan, will be in conversation with Henriette Korthlas Altes (MFO) and Catriona Seth (All Souls) at Jesus College, in the Harper Room at Jesus College at 5.15 P.M. on Wednesday 26th April.
Delphine de Vigan's novels include Jours sans faim (2002) about fighting anorexia, No et moi (2007), currently an A level set text, deals with homelessness and was made into a film by Zabou Breitman. She received major literary prizes for her two most recent novels, Rien ne s'oppose à la nuit (2011) about her mother's depression and suicide, and D'après une histoire vraie (2014) which deals with an author being manipulated by a 'friend' and reflects on what creation and fiction really are. Several of her novels have been translated into English.
