On Friday, March 2nd Dr Jonathan Patterson, together with Dr Jonathan Williams (Director of College Music, St Hilda's College) and the Faculty of Music, will present a unique seminar: 'Musical and Literary Approaches to the Operas of Jean-Philippe Rameau'.
The event will take place in Jaqueline du Pre Music Building, St Hilda’s College from 5.30 pm. The topics of conversation will include the influence of orchestration and choreography, the application of literary devices, and other questions — both performative and theoretical.
