Professor Catriona Seth FBA (All Souls College) has been elected Secretary-General of the International Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies, the worldwide federation of learned societies for research in the field of Enlightenment studies. She will serve in this capacity until July 2023. Professor Seth is currently also President of the French Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies (SFEDS). With Dr Caroline Warman (Jesus College), President of the British Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies (BSECS), she was part of the organising committee of the 2019 Enlightenment Congress held in Edinburgh.
