Congratulations to Professor Catriona Seth FBA on the publication of a new edition of selected stories by Guy de Maupassant to which she contributed an introduction.

The classic translations, by Marjorie Laurie and Brian Rhys, include many of Maupassant's most famous stories like "Mademoiselle Fifi" and "Le Horla".

"Writing the introduction was one of my most fulfilling occupations during the first lockdown and I am delighted the book has been published." Professor Seth commented.
