C. M. MacRobert, Emeritus University Lecturer in Russian Philology and Comparative Slavonic Philology,  has been honoured with a Festschrift published by the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. The special volume of the journal Kirilo-Metodievski studii (vol. 31, 2021) contains articles by colleagues from Bulgaria, Croatia, Germany, Italy, Poland, Russia, Slovenia, Sweden, Ukraine and the UK on aspects of  Slavonic philology, especially the use of Church Slavonic.

Almut Suerbaum, Chair of the Faculty Board, commented: 'The Festschrift is a tribute to the depth of Mary's scholarship and the range of her academic network. On behalf of the Faculty, I would like to offer warm congratulations.'
